The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) is created to help skilled refugees immigrate to Canada through existing economic programs.
The pilot program combines economic immigration and refugee resettlement and providing two available pathways to apply to the EMPP.

The Permanent Residence Pathways for Hong Kong Residents (HK) facilitate granting permanent residence to eligible Hong Kong residents who are currently residing in Canada, along with their family members.

The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and the Home Support Worker Pilot Programs (HCCP) are 5-year pilot programs that let qualified caregivers and their family members come to Canada with the goal of becoming permanent residents.

The Federal Self-employed Persons Program (FSE) is for self-employed persons with relevant experience in cultural /artistic or athletic activities who want to immigrate to Canada permanently.

The Start-up Visa Program (SUV) is for innovative entrepreneurs to become permanent residents in Canada while assisting them to become established in Canada.
Successful applicants link with private sector organizations in Canada, where they can receive funding, guidance and expertise in opening and operating their business in Canada.

Under the Federal Family Class -Spouse, Partner, Dependent Child (FSPS), Canadian citizen or permanent resident may sponsor a spouse, common-law partner or dependent children for Canadian permanent residence.

Under the Federal Family Class – Other Relatives (FSPR), Canadian citizen or permanent resident may sponsor relatives such as a brother, sister, aunt or uncle or other relatives in very specific situations, for Canadian permanent residence.

Under the Federal Family Class – Parents and Grandparents (FSPP), Canadian citizen or permanent resident may sponsor a parent or grandparent for Canadian permanent residence.

Under the Federal Family Class – Adopted Children (FSPA), a Canadian citizen or permanent resident may adopt and sponsor a child (under 18 years of age) for Canadian permanent residence.

The Agri-Food Pilot Program (AFP) is for non-seasonal farm and livestock workers who have the intention of living and working permanently in Canada. The program aims at attracting workers in specific industries including meat processing, animal raising, green housing, and mushroom production sectors.
