The Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway (AEETP) allows Alberta to nominate a limited number of qualified candidates from Federal Express Entry System. The Accelerated Tech Pathway of this stream provides expedited processing to foreign workers who are currently working for, or have a job offer with, an Alberta-based tech industry employer in an eligible tech occupation.

The Alberta Rural Renewal Stream (ARR) is for foreign nationals with a job offer to work in a rural Alberta community to become permanent residents. Candidates under this stream must be endorsed by the Economic Development Organization (EDO) of their designated rural community in Alberta with a population less than 100,000.

The Alberta Rural Entrepreneur Stream (ARE) is for qualified and capable entrepreneurs who want to live in rural communities in Alberta with population of less than 100,000. They must start a new business or buy an existing business in a rural Alberta community and must actively participate in the day-to-day management of the business.

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) provides a path to permanent residency for qualified foreign employees and international graduates who desire to work and live in one of Canada’s four Atlantic provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador).

The Alberta Farm Stream (AF) is designed to attract experienced farmers who plan to establish or purchase and manage a farming business in Alberta.

The Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) is for foreign nationals working in Alberta and have a full-time job offer from an Alberta employer in an eligible occupation to become permanent residents.

The Alberta Graduate Entrepreneur Stream (AGE) is a path to permanent residence for qualified international graduates from Alberta post-secondary schools who desire to start or run a business in the province.

The Alberta Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream (AFGE) is an immigration path that nominates talented and eligible foreign educated graduates from outside Canada for permanent residence in Alberta when they launch an innovative start-up business.

Applicants can only apply to the Alberta Express Entry stream after receiving a Notification of Interest (NOI) letter from the province. Eligible candidates will be contacted directly by the AAIP through their Express Entry profile.
