Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP)
The Prince Edward Islands International Graduates Stream gives graduates from a publicly-funded PEI post-secondary institution that have a job offer from a PEI employer the opportunity to apply to permanently live and work in the province.
International Graduates stream is part of PEI Workforce Category, which includes the following streams:
The Workforce Category supports foreign nationals with a valid job offer and support from a PEI employer, who would like to apply for a nomination for permanent residency through the PEI PNP.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met if you are applying to the Prince Edward Island International Graduates Stream:
1- Job Offer Requirement
Any applicant applying under NOC 73300 (Transport truck drivers) will be required to have at least 12 months of long haul truck driving experience and their job offer must be with an eligible PEI employer.
2- Work Permit
You must have a valid post-graduate work permit (➨Page) and legal status in Canada.
3- Age
4- Language Ability
For TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 jobs, you must and possess sufficient English and/or French language ability to perform the job offered. For a TEER 4 or 5 positions, you must provide a valid language test result with a minimum score of CLB 4.
Language test must be taken no more than two (2) years prior to submission of your application.
5- Education
You must have successfully completed a post-secondary degree or diploma from a publicly-funded PEI post-secondary institution.

- You have a federal Express Entry profile (in which case you should apply under PEI Express Entry stream (➨Page))
- You are a refugee claimant in Canada, a failed refugee claimant, had a removal order, are prohibited from entering or being in Canada, do not have status in Canada or are living illegally in your country of residence.

The ECA Report must not be more than five (5) years old prior to the date PEI PNP receives your application and the date you will submit your application for Expression of Interest.
Factor 3: Employment in PEI
You can get maximum of 20 points for the following employment related factors

WHAT STEPS SHOULD YOU TAKE?
Step 1: Complete Your Studies in Canada
You need a study permit (➨Page) in order to study in Canada. Before you apply for a study permit, you need an acceptance letter from one of the above institutions.
Step 2: Apply for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
After completion of studies in Prince Edward Island, you need to apply for and obtain a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) (➨Page).
Step 3: Get a Job Offer in Prince Edward Island
If you don’t already have a qualified job offer with the criteria explained in “Minimum Requirements”, you need to find an employer and secure a job for yourself.
Step 4: Submit an Online Expression of Interest (EOI)

Step 5: Submit Application to PEI PNP

Step 6: Apply for Permanent Residence
If you are nominated by the province of Prince Edward Island, then your next step is to submit a complete application for a permanent resident visa within three (3) months (➨Page).
You must submit your application using the IRCC Permanent Residence Portal (PR Portal) (➨ immilib.com/PR-Portal).
Apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (if applicable)
If your PR application is not finalized, you may be able to apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) (➨Page). This will let you to stay and continue working on a valid work permit until your PR application is finalized.
Step 7: Landing in Canada
You will only become a Permanent Resident of Canada when you cross a Canadian port of entry. This is referred to as ‘landing in Canada' (➨Page).
